About Me
I sent my first email in 1994 and was surfing the net in 1996 for a work-study job as a Research Assistant at the Maine Small Business Development Center. Needless to say, my knowledge of the internet and the design of websites has grown over the past fourteen years. Now, I am a web designer and photographer in the Columbus, Ohio area.
My web design education is from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and it is truly a web education. I attended all of my classes online while I was a flight attendant for US Airways. I designed various sites and developed a portfolio which helped me attain my current position.
I am currently the Web Designer at AFS Web/At First Site, Inc. located in Columbus. Prior to this position, I was the Assistant Web Developer of The American Ceramic Society in Westerville. In my free time, I am a freelance web designer.
I have worked on several projects as a photographer. Photography is developing talent that I have loved and enjoyed since I was a child. I have always considered photography as "just a hobby," but I have taken family portraits and I do have experience as a second photographer for weddings.
I enjoy my career as a web designer and appreciate being recognized as a photographer. I'm so happy to do something I love for a career.
